Hundreds of Afghans residing in Chicago gathered at the Eidgah of Syed Jamaluddin Afghan Mosque, standing shoulder to shoulder in the Eid al-Fitr prayer, their voices united as they journeyed to the feast of light. Each of their prostrations was a form of gratitude for the gift of servitude, and every takbir echoed the longing and union with the Almighty - Glorious is His Majesty.

The Afghan elders residing in Chicago expressed their appreciation by awarding certificates of recognition to the young individuals who had contributed to the successful organization of the Eid al-Fitr prayer ceremony.
Our esteemed brother, Sardar Jan, in collaboration with Mr. Sadat, organized a meeting at his residence in Skokie on May 4, 2025, so that Afghan community elders residing in Chicago could exchange views regarding the construction of a mosque.
